Each valve is heat-treated and stress-relieved over a 48-hour period for molecular integrity and feature avionics-quality hard chrome along with a specially applied hard tip. SUPER ALLOY VALVES (EXHAUST) Ferrea's Super Alloy exceeds typical Inconel alloy and is highly recommended for exhaust valves in turbocharged or boosted 2.5L 5 Cylinder engine builds. Super Alloy is the absolute highest level available in exhaust valve technology. Engineered to handle extreme heat requirements and punishment from turbocharged engines running high boost, nitro fuels, nitrous oxides, ethanol, and pump gas. Reversed forged for superior strength and durability, the Super Alloy can withstand exhaust gas temperatures exceeding 2400 degrees Fahrenheit onto the valve. Every valve is finished with a refined swirl and micro polish to eliminate surface imperfections.
